Under Supreme Court Rules, 2013 and the Limitation Act, 1963, an SLP against a final High Court order must be filed within 90 days from the date of the impugned judgment. If the High Court refuses a Certificate of Fitness under Article 134A, the limitation period is reduced to 60 days from the refusal order date. The time spent in obtaining the certified copy (from application date to delivery date) is excluded under Section 12(2) of the Limitation Act. Any delay beyond this requires an Application for Condonation of Delay supported by a personal affidavit explaining each day's delay.
